Hope vs. Fear
I just came across a great video clip, via Boing Boing, of all the Fear-mongering at the Republican Convention this year. This is a great follow up to Clinton’s recent comments on the choice that Americans face. We must choose between one candidate who seeks votes by inspiring fear, and another candidate who inspires thought and hope.
Is this really a difficult choice? If you still think so, then you really need to watch this video.
Hmmmmm, let me see. Employment, health insurance, real international assistance cleaning up the Iraq mess, OR “Terrorist, Terrorist, Terrorist, Saddam, Saddam, Saddam, September 11th, September 11th, September 11th!” and a closet full of duct tape.
