There have always been rumors of news anchors who wear no pants behind their broadcast desks, and thanks to cable TV we have all seen exactly how loose the dress code is in Howard Stern’s radio studio. But now there is a growing community of homegrown DeeJays cooking up their own radio shows in the comfort of their own home. It is a growing movement called Podcasting.
I just came across this frightening statement via Japan Today’s Quote Of The Day page “If Japanese hadn’t fought the white people, we would still be slaves of the white people. It would be colonization. We changed that.” Tokyo Gov Shintaro Ishihara, insisting that Japan need not apologize for its wartime invasion of neighboring Asian countries, arguing that Japan did Asia a favor by delivering it from Western imperialism.
Watching my video of the debate, I came to wonder, is the cost of this war worth it? If you look at the lives lost, it seems to be getting out of hand.
