These are a few photos that I shot on the first weekend of November while we drove around town. I was shooting with 800 speed film, using my nearly antique Chinon camera that my mother bought me for my high school graduation. The film was far too fast to get any good color on this perfect fall day, so the photos did not come out as well as I hoped, but there is always next time...

These days it seems that most of the photos that I take are of my children. I think it is just a symptom of the whole Oyabaka thing.(A literal translation would be "Stupid parents", but it refers to the way in which all parents are convinced that their children are the most beautiful, smartest, strongest, fastest...)

We were getting ready for Shichi-Go-San festivities today, and we took some quick photos on the front steps of the house. When I looked at the photos later, it made me think of a layout in a clothing catalog. Although I think that most clothing catalogs check for boogies before publishing...
